Lead Technical Support for Vision Care Innovation
As a Senior Field Service Engineer, you will provide high-level technical service for advanced ophthalmic equipment across the Daejeon and Chungnam areas. Your primary responsibility is ensuring the optimal performance of surgical and vision care devices through scheduled maintenance, rapid response to urgent service needs, and thorough post-repair validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on medical devices, verifying full compliance with technical specifications
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently to reduce repeat service visits
- Install system upgrades and guide customers through new features and benefits
- Maintain clear communication with clinical teams, sales staff, and operations to support seamless service delivery
- Report technical challenges and customer feedback to internal stakeholders using established protocols
- Manage spare parts inventory strategically to balance cost efficiency with service readiness
- Ensure timely documentation in CRM systems and support accurate service reporting
- Support compliance with quality management and regulatory standards, including GMP
- Contribute to revenue goals by promoting service contracts and identifying service opportunities
- Complete required technical training and maintain company assets, including tools and vehicles
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required, along with over a decade of hands-on experience servicing electronic medical devices. A background in electronics or a related technical field is preferred. Strong English proficiency supports collaboration in a global environment.
