National General (Allstate) is looking for a Field Auto Claims Representative to work in the Richmond, Virginia area and surrounding communities. In this field-based role, you will use your analytical skills to create comprehensive estimates for vehicle damage, directly impacting claim resolution and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Apply a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
- Build established relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Exhibit proficient estimating fundamentals to create estimates for 1st and 3rd party material damage losses.
- Process a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.
- Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities within escalated authority limits.

- Excellent documentation and customer relationship management abilities.
Nice to Have
- A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience.

Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $25.00 - $38.50.
Work Mode
This is a local field position based in Richmond, Virginia and surrounding areas. You will be required to travel within this territory to perform on-site inspections.
