At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher company, we are looking for a Field Application Specialist (f/m/d) to join our team in Switzerland. In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation in hospitals and laboratories, primarily in the German-speaking regions. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be key to resolving customer issues, driving revenue growth, and ensuring excellent service delivery.

What You'll Do

Provide excellent customer service while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
Provide frontline support by resolving customer problems through technical, scientific expertise and troubleshooting.
Help drive revenue growth while ensuring strong customer contract retention rates and warranty conversion.
Use critical thinking to resolve application issues, train our customers, and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems.
Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner to deliver a high-quality Customer Experience.
Develop commercial awareness through cross-functional support to increase growth opportunities and demonstrate our pioneering innovation solutions and new products.

What We're Looking For

Educational background in Clinical Laboratory Science, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Medical Sciences, or related fields.
Customer-facing experience in a laboratory, service, application support, or similar environment.
Strong communication skills in German and English (both required).
Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.
Ability to work flexible hours as per business needs.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of immunoassays, clinical chemistry, or diagnostic laboratory workflows.
Previous experience as a Field Application Specialist or in service/application support roles.
Experience in sales support, identifying customer needs, or spotting potential commercial opportunities.
Additional languages like French or Italian are beneficial.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the European Implementation Team and the Field Applications Specialist Team, reporting to the Field Application Manager.
