Henry Schein One LLC is hiring a Senior Equipment Service Technician in Wilkes-Barre to lead the repair and service of all equipment in dental practices. This position is central to driving service success that improves customer satisfaction and retention, while managing complex repair cases and supporting a broad range of products.
What You'll Do
- Provide courteous, professional repair and installation services, handling escalated and advanced technical issues.
- Lead team members on-site, managing installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
- Diagnose errors through proper troubleshooting steps and determine effective solutions.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make recommendations to optimize their experience.
- Assist junior technicians as needed to ensure quality customer service.
- Maintain proper inventory levels in your service vehicle.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Attend all required training, including Henry Schein Dental Career Development and manufacturer technical training.
- Comply with all OSHA regulations and utilize personal protective equipment.
- Communicate progress proactively to all team members and dispatchers.
- Complete and review all work orders with customers daily, submitting them for billing.
- Submit all job-related paperwork, including FDA Forms and expense reports, within required timeframes.
- Comply with all Fleet Management Policy terms.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- 3 or more Level 1 Certifications as determined by business need.
- Cross-certification in areas like digital x-ray/software and digital CAD/CAM.
- Proven ability to present preventative maintenance to customers.
- Proven ability to administer work orders, FSRs, Concur, eTime, RMA’s, and 2579 reporting accurately.
- Ability to act as a liaison between Henry Schein, customers, contractors, and EPM.
- Demonstrated lead technician capabilities.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Expert troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to work with confidential information.
- Ability to mentor other technicians.
- Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Typically 7 or more years of dental industry experience with demonstrated proficiency.
- Strong mechanical background.
- Service and installation experience.
- Achieved and demonstrated expertise equivalent to a CIT certification.
Nice to Have
- Associate's degree or Technical School Certification.
Work Mode
This position requires onsite work in Wilkes-Barre.
