Lead technical field support for adhesive and equipment systems by conducting on-site evaluations, remote consultations, and live demonstrations to identify root causes and refine application methods. This role ensures optimal performance through data-driven diagnostics and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical projects from start to finish—define goals, design test plans, oversee data collection and analysis, and deliver clear, actionable reports
- Assess customer project needs by evaluating technical requirements, cost implications, and resource demands, then recommend practical, high-performance solutions
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test results to provide precise, field-ready guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop customized adhesive and equipment configurations that solve specific customer challenges
- Deliver hands-on training sessions for internal staff, partners, and customer engineers to improve system understanding and application accuracy
- Stay current on industry equipment, testing methods, and competitive technologies to maintain technical leadership in the field
- Advocate for customer needs internally by reporting field insights and escalating complex issues to drive product and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years in specialty materials, chemicals, or a comparable technical field
- Proven experience in field-based technical support with strong customer-facing skills
- Ability to install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain dispensing, curing, and testing equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently—up to 80% within Mexico, with occasional trips to other LATAM countries
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning
Work Environment
This position requires extensive field work with significant travel across Mexico and occasional support in other Latin American countries. The role blends on-site customer engagement with lab-based testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
