Sartorius is hiring a Field Account Manager to grow revenue and customer relationships for our Bioprocess business in the Boston, MA area. In this remote-based role, you will proactively sell our full portfolio, solve customer challenges, and work closely with internal teams to deliver value.
What You'll Do
- Proactively sell the full bioprocess portfolio through in-person and remote interactions with assigned accounts.
- Meet growth targets and objectives for your assigned accounts.
- Research and develop prospects within your account mix.
- Identify key decision makers and build effective relationships.
- Leverage Sartorius solutions to solve critical customer challenges from early development to commercial manufacturing.
- Support existing business and uncover new opportunities within accounts.
- Analyze customer needs, develop solutions, and present offerings.
- Work closely with Technical teams, Marketing partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct customer presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations; provide quotations and close deals.
- Monitor market changes for competition and best practices and communicate findings internally.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a science discipline OR 5+ years of relevant experience as an Account Manager in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 1+ year sales and account management in biopharmaceuticals OR 3+ years selling relevant technologies into a parallel industry.
- Ability to be on the road up to 70% within the sales region.
- Proficient with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to interact within all levels of target organizations.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, and hard working.
- Good teamwork skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop sales strategy.
- Financial acumen and understanding of complex sales processes.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
