About the Role
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and privacy in female dormitory and gym areas by maintaining hygiene standards, supervising facility use, monitoring compliance with safety rules, and supporting resident well-being in a camp environment.
Responsibilities
- Keep female dormitory rooms, restrooms, hallways, and shared spaces clean and in compliance with hygiene and housekeeping standards.
- Respect and uphold the privacy, dignity, and comfort of female residents at all times.
- Manage and oversee entry to female-only living areas according to site security protocols.
- Enforce camp rules, behavioral expectations, and conduct guidelines.
- Carry out daily checks and promptly report any defects, unhygienic conditions, or safety hazards.
- Supervise the female gym during scheduled operating times.
- Ensure gym equipment, floors, lockers, and washing facilities are clean, organized, and safe.
- Monitor gym usage to confirm compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental rules and posted signage.
- Identify and report damaged or unsafe equipment immediately using the site’s reporting system.
- Offer basic guidance on gym rules and safe equipment use, without providing personal training unless qualified and authorized.
- Follow all Shell Life-Saving Rules, site Golden Rules, and company health, safety, security, and environment procedures.
- Attend mandatory safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Maintain awareness of surroundings in dormitory and gym areas at all times.
- Report incidents, unsafe behaviors, near-misses, or health issues without delay.
- Wear required personal protective equipment and follow work permit and access procedures.
- Complete daily checklists for cleaning, inspections, and attendance accurately.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, catering, security, and medical staff as needed.
- Assist during audits, facility inspections, and client walkthroughs.
- Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and contract-specific requirements.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Camp Boss, Accommodation Manager, or Facilities Supervisor.
Requirements
- Applicant must be female due to privacy requirements for female-only accommodation areas.
- Physically capable of working in a remote camp environment and adapting to rotational living conditions.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Nice to Have
- Secondary education or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in camp operations, hospitality, or facility support roles is beneficial.
Team
Reports to Accommodation Supervisor, Camp Boss, or Facilities Manager.

- Work takes place in indoor accommodation and recreational facilities.
- Role involves moderate physical activity such as walking, standing, and light supervision.
