Responsibilities
- Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists and other local healthcare partners.
- Design and deliver a territory business plan using customer insight and local needs.
- Share clear, accurate, science-based information to support healthcare professionals’ decision-making.
- Record activity, outcomes and customer insights accurately using company systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to resolve customer needs and improve patient access.
- Keep learning about clinical evidence, local market trends and practical ways to improve performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing field sales, medical business or territory management experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Marathi or other local languages used in Pune.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Right to work in India.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical or healthcare field roles.
- Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals.
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to use customer insight and basic data to guide activity and priorities.
- Fluency in Marathi and additional regional languages used locally.
- High motivation to learn, adapt and take on increasing responsibility.
