Virtuos China Limited is hiring an External Development Manager to play a central role in our partner ecosystem. You will connect internal production needs from Virtuos studios around the world with the right external partners, ensuring reliable and high-quality collaborations across global teams.
What You'll Do
- Turn global production needs into actionable briefs to enable effective partner selection.
- Identify and secure the best partner to maximize project fit, quality, and delivery confidence.
- Coordinate interviews and selection processes to enable fast and informed decision-making.
- Negotiate partner rates to secure competitive pricing and strong long-term value.
- Ensure smooth onboarding to enable seamless partner integration into production workflows.
- Monitor engagements and collect feedback to maintain high quality and satisfaction levels.
- Proactively search for and integrate new partners into our network to make it stronger.
- Review and validate partner credentials to ensure fast and accurate matching.
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals inside and outside the company.
- Comfortable interacting with international teams across time zones.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel workflows with discipline and reliability.
- Ability to apply sound judgment and common sense in situations where processes do not fully cover the context.
- Autonomous, accountable, and comfortable working with limited supervision.
- Passion for video games.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the industry and games development pipeline.
- 0-5 years experience in operations, coordination, vendor management, recruitment, or related skillsets.
