Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an Expert EPIC Configuration Analyst to join our mission-driven organization. In this role, you will apply your deep knowledge of Epic System software to design and tailor solutions that align with Presbyterian’s evolving needs and directly influence how care is delivered across New Mexico.
What You'll Do
- Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data structures, and technical challenges.
- Lead the design, build, testing, and maintenance of Epic solutions.
- Serve as a bridge between technical teams and clinical/business stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements.
- Provide tier-2 support for Epic application incidents, including 24/7 on-call coverage as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and manage enhancement requests, upgrades, and projects.
- Modify Epic records, tables, and master files to support application design and changes.
- Develop and maintain requirements, specifications, and test cases for new or enhanced functionality.
- Ensure test scripts reflect workflow solutions and follow quality assurance processes.
- Analyze workflows, create new ones with SMEs, and implement solutions that improve end-user productivity.
- Support training teams by communicating system changes and new functionality.
- Actively participate in and facilitate team and cross-team meetings.
- Mentor and guide other analysts, tailoring support to individual needs.
- Lead knowledge transfer efforts and serve as a go-to resource for team members and end users.
- Assist leadership in project scoping and timeline assessment.
- Create and deliver presentations to large cross-functional groups.
- Maintain strong communication skills, implement process improvements, and contribute to strategic planning.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of IT or business experience.
- Alternatively, 6 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years of Epic-specific experience.
- Epic certified in a supporting application plus additional proficiency/certification/badges in a related application area.
Nice to Have
- Epic Professional Billing Certification.
- Experience with claims and charge router functionality.
