Responsibilities
- Safely operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, clamp lifts, and box clamps.
- Monitor material levels on machines and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Issue correct raw materials, finishing supplies, and recycle or waste receptacles to production machines without causing damage.
- Monitor finished products on machines and remove them without damage to the warehouse or load directly onto trucks.
- Remove and store unused raw materials and finishing supplies during product changes on the machine.
- Load and unload raw materials or finished goods from semi trucks.
- Accurately complete material handler recording sheets.
- Empty recycle bins from machines and operate the waste baler.
- Operate shrink wrap machines.
- Remove and band large cores from parent rolls.
- Notify semi drivers when trucks are full.
- Supply skids to machines.
- Stack raw materials and finished goods safely to heights of 20 feet or more.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Bale or stretch wrap waste materials.
