Ansible Health is looking for an Exercise Physiologist to provide care via telemedicine to patients with advanced chronic lung disease. This is a versatile, cross-functional role blending medical care, education, case management, marketing, and advocacy for a medically complex patient population.
What You'll Do
- Provide individual and group patient education on disease management, medication regimens, preventive care, smoking cessation, and other topics.
- Assess, triage, and escalate care for patients with worsening or acute symptoms.
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and external care agencies.
- Advocate for patients experiencing major social stressors by activating community resources for medication access, transportation, nutrition, and housing.
- Serve as the continuous point of contact for patients and families across the entire care spectrum, from post-acute care to advanced care planning.
- Promote the program and answer questions from referring providers and practices in the local community.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Nursing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an Exercise Physiologist or RN, with a background spanning acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, home care, and outpatient settings.
- Demonstrated experience with cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Maintenance of professional certification and continuing education credits.
- Proficiency with telemedicine and/or remote patient care platforms.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps).
- Up to date PRC license.
- Fluent in English - speaking, reading and writing.
Nice to Have
- U.S. NCLEX-RN license or relevant international certification (e.g., ACSM, ESSA, NASM).
- Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Nursing or related field.
Technical Stack
