OCBC Bank is seeking an Executive Director, Credit Cards Team Lead to provide strategic leadership in designing best-in-class customer propositions for mass, emerging affluent, and affluent segments. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving digitalization, product innovation, and strong portfolio growth while leading a team of product managers.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end management, development, and delivery of credit cards portfolios (proprietary and cobranded), owning product strategy, digital customer journey, and portfolio performance.
- Drive full P&L accountability with a focus on revenue growth, cost management, risk optimization, and long-term profitability.
- Identify, design, and launch or refresh compelling product propositions and lifestyle benefits for target segments.
- Enhance the cardmember service experience by identifying pain points, championing customer feedback, and driving service improvement initiatives.
- Embrace digital solutions and innovation to streamline onboarding, deepen customer engagement, and improve product delivery and servicing.
- Collaborate across internal teams (e.g., digital, marketing, analytics, risk, compliance, technology, operations) and external partners (e.g., merchants, schemes, service providers) for timely program and project delivery.
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments with professionalism and influence, including senior-level interactions.
- Monitor market and competitive trends to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Support and drive industry compliance projects to meet standards and develop best-in-class customer experiences.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of product managers to achieve collective goals.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration and Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in cards product and portfolio management roles with at least 15 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of the cards and unsecured lending landscape and its regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all key stakeholders across seniorities (external or internal).
- Experience providing direction and guidance to a team and investing in talent development.
- Passionate about customer experience with a demonstrated ability to drive service improvements and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Digitally savvy with a strong appreciation for technology, innovation, and digital product enablement and a hands-on approach towards design, testing, and implementation.
- Resilient, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
