Taurus SA is growing its global trading operations and is seeking an Execution Trader to be based in Nicosia. You will join a skilled team at the intersection of digital assets and finance, playing a key role in executing trades, managing key relationships, and helping to build a top-tier trading infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Execute client orders according to best execution policy and within set risk limits.
- Contribute to building a top-notch trading infrastructure across all services, including exchange, prime brokerage, spot, and derivatives.
- Open, manage, and supervise relationships with digital asset exchanges, OTC dealers, liquidity providers, and market-makers.
- Manage the firm's proprietary trading portfolio and take charge of hedging activities.
- Ensure proper execution and settlement of trades in collaboration with the back-office team.
- Write daily newsletters and ad-hoc research papers about digital assets.
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the trading platform.
- Prepare dashboards and reports on trading activities and best execution for Management.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives, such as testing new product releases.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, finance, and/or business administration.
- 3 years’ experience in trading multiple asset classes such as cryptos, FX, or derivatives for a regulated financial institution.
- Holder of the advanced CySEC certificate or willing to take the exam as soon as possible.
- Excellent quantitative skills, well-organized and structured.
- A strong passion and excellent understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies.
- The highest professional standards regarding risk, compliance, market abuse, best execution, and stock exchange rules.
- An autonomous, open-minded, self-starting, fast-learner with a hands-on, high-energy, and results-oriented approach.
- Fluent in English.

- Knowledge of market-making.
- Quant and coding capabilities.
- Greek language skills.
