About the Role

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is seeking an Event Sales & Service Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling, planning, and servicing events with a specialized focus on the Wedding and Social markets, driving banquet revenue and delivering exceptional end-to-end experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Sell, plan, and service events with a focus on Wedding and Social markets.
  • Partner with the Director of Events and Director of Sales, Marketing, and Events to drive revenue.
  • Handle menu planning, agenda development, contract review, and coordination of all hotel meeting and catering services.
  • Act as primary liaison between clients and resort departments, facilitating communication before, during, and after events.
  • Conduct site inspections and host client entertainment.
  • Cultivate strong and lasting customer relationships.
  • Participate in and at times lead event meetings.
  • Actively prospect new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and catering team, administrative support, and all operational areas of the resort.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in general computer applications and office software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to conduct on-property site tours, which may include outdoor areas, uneven surfaces, stairs, and multiple building locations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer, etc.).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business levels require.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Preferably two years of hotel sales or event planning experience.

Team & Environment

You will partner closely with the Director of Events and the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Events.
