Virtual Construction Assistants is looking for a bilingual Estimator fluent in Spanish and English to join our team. You will prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimations for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate thinks critically about constructability and thrives in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
- Assist in compiling and analyzing cost estimates for projects
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure comprehensive bid proposals
- Utilize on-screen takeoff software
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience with quantity takeoff and estimating
- Proficiency in any on-screen takeoff software (Bluebeam, Planswift, OST, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Nice to Have
- Strong understanding of construction processes; MEP background is a plus but not required
