Role Overview
As ERP Services Director, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of enterprise resource planning, digital supply chain, and B2B eCommerce technologies. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will ensure integrated, secure, and scalable systems that support global operations in finance, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise SAP ERP strategy, emphasizing optimization, simplification, and measurable business value.
- Lead the SAP Program Management Office, Center of Excellence, and technical teams during implementations and data migrations.
- Drive continuous improvement in core ERP capabilities across finance, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify automation opportunities, close process gaps, and enhance productivity through ERP-enabled solutions.
- Oversee change governance, prioritization, and investment decisions to align ERP initiatives with business outcomes.
- Ensure system stability, security, compliance, and user adoption across global ERP environments.
- Develop and deliver the technology roadmap for B2B eCommerce platforms, customer portals, and digital ordering experiences.
- Integrate eCommerce systems with SAP ERP, CRM, and supply chain platforms to enable seamless digital commerce.
- Shape the enterprise eCommerce strategy in alignment with commercial growth and customer experience objectives.
- Partner with commercial and marketing teams to scale digital sales channels and self-service capabilities.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance to support global demand cycles.
- Co-develop the digital supply chain technology roadmap with supply chain leadership, focusing on resilience, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Enable digital transformation in planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics, and supplier collaboration.
- Apply data analytics and automation to improve decision-making, visibility, and agility across the supply chain.
- Integrate supply chain systems with ERP for end-to-end process execution and reporting.
- Support lean, continuous improvement, and Industry 4.0 initiatives in partnership with operations leaders.
- Build, mentor, and lead global technology teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Establish governance, vendor oversight, and financial controls for large-scale technology programs.
- Apply agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery methods to ensure disciplined execution.
- Collaborate with enterprise IT and cybersecurity teams to meet security, compliance, and reliability standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in technology roles within large, complex organizations.
- Proven success in managing global SAP ERP implementations and large-scale digital transformations.
- Deep expertise in supply chain and manufacturing technologies within industrial or process-driven environments.
- Track record of delivering integrated eCommerce and digital commercial platforms.
- Strong business acumen with experience advising senior leaders across IT and business functions.
- Skilled in vendor and systems integrator management, budget planning, and project oversight.
- Proven ability to lead change, influence across matrixed organizations, and resolve complex challenges.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable results.
- Collaborative leader who fosters innovation, inclusion, and cross-functional alignment.
Preferred Background
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Industry experience in chemicals, adhesives, specialty materials, or process manufacturing.
- Global operating experience across multiple regions.
