Chimera Securities is hiring an Entry-level Equity Trader for a comprehensive training program designed to build a foundation for success in a dynamic market. You'll start learning in a classroom setting before transitioning to our live trading floor, where hands-on experience is the primary method for developing essential skills.

What You'll Do

Undergo a comprehensive training program crafted to equip essential trading skills.
Participate in live trading on the trading floor as the primary learning method.
Actively trade and gain experience right from the start to build skills and habits for long-term success.

What We're Looking For

Unrestricted/indefinite right to work in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree.
Pass SIE & Series 57 exams prior to the start date.
Team player/coachable mindset.
Emotional discipline to balance highs and lows.
Strong quantitative & analytical skills.
Passion for the markets.
Entrepreneurial spirit.

Nice to Have

GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Team & Environment

Training is led by an experienced Head Trader and other seasoned professionals. You'll have the opportunity to learn from multiple experienced traders through trading floor rotation.
