The LEGO Group is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing operations in Vietnam. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our state-of-the-art packing machinery, supporting operations with a focus on safety and reliability to fulfill dynamic customer demand.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the safe and reliable daily operation of packing production equipment.
- Repair and troubleshoot pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, conveyor systems, robotic, and PLC-driven equipment.
- Evaluate machinery for effective operation and execute scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Support production changeovers and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel, engineers, and operators.
- Report repairs and faults to supervisors and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare mechanical documentation and process descriptions.
- Support the installation of new production lines.
- Draft analysis reports for breakdowns over 60 minutes and use Power BI for data analysis.
- Offer and implement solutions using PDCA methodology and share technical knowledge.
- Train technicians and operators in technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Execute special projects and assignments as required.
What We're Looking For
- A vocational school, college, or university degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of equipment maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of equipment, tools, and materials used in the assigned area.
- Familiarity with applicable industry practices, methods, and procedures.
- Experience with problem-solving and the PDCA framework.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, teamwork, proactive service attitude, and personal and professional ethics.
- Willingness to travel as assigned, including overseas.
- Ability to read and understand basic technical datasheets and manuals in English.
