AECOM is hiring an Environmental Project Manager focused on remediation to manage leaking underground storage tank (UST) investigation and remediation projects across the Northeast region. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from technical design to client and regulatory coordination.
What You'll Do
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget for large-sized investigation, remediation, and construction projects.
- Complete a variety of remedial designs.
- Build strong client relationships and handle client and regulatory correspondence.
- Perform technical report writing and review.
- Analyze and apply solutions to atypical and challenging issues.
- Ensure health and safety stewardship, including conducting local field visits.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
- Work effectively with project teams, clients, and all stakeholders.
- Coordinate work schedules with AECOM staff and subcontractors.
- Be responsible for quality control of tasks.
- Mentor project junior staff and supervise up to 5 staff.
- Undertake some regional travel for field visits.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with leaking underground storage tank (UST) investigation and remediation projects.
- Knowledge of leaking UST regulations in CT, MA, NH, NY, and/or RI.
- Strong focus on health and safety.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance team.
- Must reside in CT, MA, NH, NY, or RI.
Team & Environment
You will report to an AECOM office in the Northeast region.

This is a hybrid role based from one of the following locations: Rocky Hill, CT; Chelmsford, MA; Manchester, NH; or Providence, RI.
