UCB is looking for an Environmental & HSE Systems Intern to strengthen regulatory compliance and environmental management. You will support our HSE department by updating tools and processes, focusing on pragmatic improvements and effective collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Set up and adapt the new HSE regulatory monitoring tool.
- Identify and integrate applicable Swiss and European legal requirements.
- Update and structure environmental documentation like action plans and SOPs.
- Ensure traceability and compliance of all information.
- Participate in environmental risk analysis and action plan monitoring.
- Collect field data by collaborating with operational teams.
- Communicate with and motivate non-specialized teams for a pragmatic approach.
What We're Looking For
- Student in engineering, HSE, environment, or a related field.
- Interest in Swiss and European safety and environmental regulations.
- Strong autonomy, rigor, and an analytical mindset.
- Mastery of IT tools, specifically Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and popularization skills.
- Organization and project management skills.
- French is mandatory, and English is required in addition.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially a GMP environment.
