What You'll Do
- Secure freight by sourcing and booking loads through digital load boards and direct shipper networks
- Drive profitability by negotiating competitive freight rates with brokers and shippers
- Coordinate driver schedules, plan efficient routes, and confirm delivery windows
- Provide real-time support to drivers and owner-operators during transit
- Manage essential documentation including rate confirmations, carrier onboarding, invoicing, and compliance records
- Recruit and maintain relationships with independent truckers to grow available capacity
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate freight pricing with confidence and clarity
- Familiarity with dispatch workflows, including load sourcing, scheduling, and paperwork processing
- Proven skill in recruiting and maintaining relationships with owner-operators
- Strong aptitude for administrative coordination and back-office support
- Fluency in spoken and written English
