As an Entry-Level Browser Tester, you'll play a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency of web applications across multiple platforms. Your work will directly support the delivery of reliable, high-performing digital experiences for users worldwide.
What You'll Do
- Test website features across major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge to confirm consistent behavior
- Run defined test cases and validate that all functions operate as intended
- Assess usability and pinpoint visual or functional inconsistencies affecting user interaction
- Verify responsive design across devices and screen sizes to ensure proper display and functionality
- Identify layout defects, visual glitches, and performance issues that impact experience
- Test IP protection systems provided by third-party vendors for correct operation
- Check the functionality of First Party and In Stream Bidding systems for disruptions
- Monitor page load performance and flag sources of latency
- Verify IP geolocation features function accurately and deliver correct regional content
- Document and report unexpected location-based behaviors
- Write clear, detailed bug reports with reproducible steps
- Keep test records up to date and track progress using defect tracking tools
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with using and configuring VPNs and proxy servers
- Strong observational skills and dedication to quality assurance
- Working knowledge of web browsers and operating systems
- Ability to grasp new tools and technical workflows quickly
- Clear written communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
