BeOne is looking for an Entity Controller - Latin America to be a foundational member of our growing global finance team. As we build our presence, this senior finance professional will be instrumental in establishing robust accounting processes and ensuring financial integrity for our LATAM entities. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a significant advantage.

What You'll Do

Coordinate and lead the accounting processes and activities for assigned LATAM entities ensuring GL accuracy and completeness.
Support the monthly financial close process, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
Obtain an understanding of each legal entity’s Gross to Net Revenue methodology, ensuring proper revenue recording.
Work with 3PL and local finance directors to ensure accruals and reconciliations are properly maintained.
Co-ordinate, in applicable markets, the accounting of our third-party logistics partner.
Act as primary point of contact for our auditors for assigned legal entities.
Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for assigned legal entities.
Oversee the reconciliation between US GAAP and Local GAAP ledgers and understand statutory adjustments.
Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, and transfer pricing entries.
Manage the relationship with the local accounting outsourcing partner.
Partner with the FP&A team to ensure the appropriate quality and integrity of financial information.
Ensure all payroll data prepared by outsourcing partner/Payroll Teams are accurately booked in SAP.
Ensure that any manual Journal Entries are properly recorded with supporting backup.
Participate in the ongoing development of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies.
Share best practices and provide operational assistance on Accounting and SAP topics.
Stay updated with organizational changes and provide guidance to stakeholders on accounting processes.

What We're Looking For

Accounting/Business/Finance Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting operations.
Strong US GAAP and local GAAP knowledge.
Strong SAP knowledge required.
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment in a hybrid work model.
Excellent communication skills combined with cultural sensitivity.
Ability to demonstrate proactivity and initiative combined with entrepreneurial resourcefulness.
Ability to prioritize competing challenges.
Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Fluent in Spanish and English.

Nice to Have

Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry experience.
Experience in Hematology or Oncology.
S/4 Hana experience.
Experience from a multinational finance environment in a similar role (controller or financial audit).
Big 4 and/or healthcare experience.
