GE Aerospace is looking for an Enterprise Strategy Intelligence Manager to develop and maintain a synthesized view of the aerospace ecosystem, informing enterprise strategy. You'll translate complex data into actionable insights and collaborate across the organization to align strategic assumptions and priorities.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain the framework for an aerospace ecosystem view, contextualizing the prioritization of key strategy topics with a deep understanding of macroeconomics and technology.
- Build an enterprise source of truth for strategic intelligence by developing and maintaining integrated landscape assessments.
- Translate complex technical, financial, and market data into concise, actionable insights, identifying correlations and anticipating trends that inform portfolio decisions, capability roadmaps, and investment prioritization.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across other intelligence managers, Marketing, Engineering, Product Lines, Sales, Commercial Operations, Legal, Finance, and Strategy to align assumptions, scenarios, and implications.
- Communicate succinctly to senior leadership and across the enterprise through written briefs, presentations, and verbal updates with clear takeaways and next steps.
- Improve the quality, timeliness, and accessibility of insights, standardizing and continuously improving the strategic intelligence operating model, leveraging lean tools to simplify and sustain processes.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Engineering, Economics, Data Science/Analytics, or a STEM-related field of study.
- Extensive experience within aerospace, from areas such as economics, strategy, consulting, analytics, corporate development, or related fields, preferably across multiple countries.
- Both a technical and analytical background, with strong experience in forecasting.
- Ability to communicate effectively across a multi-structured global stakeholder group, up to executive and C-suite level.
- Ability to identify and prioritize strategy topics and effectively summarize and communicate them to the business.
Nice to Have
- A Masters degree is highly desirable.
- Experience forecasting in Aerospace (e.g. Cirium, flight data).
- Demonstrates deep economics expertise and a robust understanding of the global aerospace industry, including drivers impacting engine OEM financials.
- Builds and maintains a broad network with aerospace thought leaders to inform strategy and decisions.
- Proactively self-educates to stay current on the global economy, aviation industry dynamics, competitor moves, and customer trends.
- Shows passion for whitespace learning, emerging technologies, and new business models, with curiosity for the art of the possible in shifting landscapes.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate across Enterprise and Business Unit Strategy, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional partners.
