EverBank is hiring an Enterprise Portfolio Manager to provide strategic support, oversight, and execution for all technology and non-technology projects within an assigned business area. This senior role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on program management for key initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Oversee a portfolio of projects for a specific business line, managing overall execution strategy, schedule, risks, issues, and project resources.
- Perform executive-level stakeholder management, developing strong partnerships with key business stakeholders and creating/delivering executive messaging and materials.
- Facilitate the intake and prioritization of initiatives within the portfolio, partnering with stakeholders including technology teams and vendors to develop an agreed project roadmap.
- Oversee project financials and resource capacity plans across all business line initiatives, raising issues and developing action plans as needed.
- Contribute to the success of the EPMO team by providing regular input to the governance process and adhering to all policies and procedures.
- Tactically execute key initiatives by developing project plans with stakeholders, managing the development of key deliverables, coordinating large cross-functional teams, and creating effective status reporting.
- Manage team performance through regular feedback and the formal review process to ensure exceptional product delivery, engagement, motivation, and development.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of project/program management experience overseeing both technology and non-technology initiatives, including financial tracking and resource planning.
- Proven ability to manage large, cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects within scope, schedule, and budget using SDLC or Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Banking or financial services experience, particularly in deposits, lending, or origination processes.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation programs, such as modernization efforts (e.g., mainframe-to-digital migrations) or core banking system overhauls.
- Strong technical acumen—a background in Computer Science, experience running technology implementations, managing software testing teams, and delivering system-level software implementations for financial institutions.
