Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and sustain Jamf Pro for macOS device management, covering enrollment, configuration profiles, policies, and software distribution.
- Manage and resolve issues on macOS systems to uphold security compliance, patch levels, and adherence to internal policies.
- Deliver advanced-tier support for macOS problems, partnering with users and IT teams to diagnose and fix issues promptly.
- Implement security controls, oversee encryption protocols, and verify device alignment with regulatory and internal standards such as CIS, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Write and maintain automation scripts in Bash or Python to streamline operations, reporting, and management tasks within Jamf Pro.
- Lead the rollout of macOS operating system updates, third-party application patches, and firmware upgrades to maintain system integrity and security.
- Track and manage device inventory, producing reports on compliance status, device health, and usage data via Jamf Pro reporting tools.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Jamf Pro with identity providers like Entra ID, single sign-on solutions, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Develop and update documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting methods; deliver training to technical staff and users when necessary.
- Monitor advancements in Jamf Pro functionality, macOS releases, and industry trends to propose and apply improvements to the MDM infrastructure.
Other
- Candidate must be able to acquire a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance.
- Clearance eligibility requires: 1. U.S. Citizenship, 2. Successful completion of a favorable background investigation.
- Preferred clearance status: DHS EOD (highest priority); any DHS badge plus DoD Top Secret or Secret clearance (secondary); DoD Secret or Top Secret with intent to obtain EOD clearance (tertiary).
- The EOD clearance process may take up to 45 days; work initiation is contingent upon full adjudication of the clearance.
