Ford Credit is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join its North American Shop and Buy portfolio. In this role, you will understand technical business requirements and define architecture solutions aligned with company standards. You will lead and shape the loan originations portfolio during its modernization journey, including leveraging AI tools.
What You'll Do
- Understand business drivers and capabilities to determine enterprise system designs and change requirements.
- Understand emerging technology trends and apply existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable business models.
- Work with product owners and managers to ensure a robust architectural runway.
- Define principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns aligned with future-state architecture vision.
- Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint and document solution architecture.
- Analyze the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical debt, and recommend improvements.
- Support product managers in end-of-life product decisions.
- Manage and develop architecture for a broader scope of projects or products.
- Provide architecture solutions to modernize existing on-prem systems and promote cloud migration.
- Articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Translate future-state business capabilities into solution architecture requirements.
- Work creatively and analytically to solve business problems and propose solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related study.
- 8+ years of work experience in IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, data management, EDA and cloud development.
- Recent 2-3 years of work experience as an Enterprise / Solution Architect.
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments.
- In depth knowledge of full stack and Microservices architectures, hands on in NodeJS, ExpressJS, Angular, React, ReactNative and GraphQL.
- Hands on experience in Google Cloud.
- Ability to set up a devops pipeline for end-to-end automated deployment.
- Good understanding of nuances of high performing Enterprise web and mobile application development.
Nice to Have
- GCP Certification.
- Hands on experience with Gen AI and LLM.
- Understanding of Agile, Devops and DevSecOps.
