Welocalize is looking for an English to Portuguese Patent LQA Reviewer to conduct quality assurance on translated patent documents. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and technical precision in a remote, Portugal-based role.
What You'll Do
- Review English to Portuguese patent translations for linguistic and technical quality
- Perform detailed quality assurance checks against source materials
- Identify and categorize errors based on established quality frameworks
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve translation output
What We're Looking For
- Native-level fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English
- Proven experience reviewing technical translations, preferably in patents
- Strong understanding of patent terminology and technical documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical review skills

This is a remote position open to candidates based in or near Porto, Portugal.
