Hilton is hiring an Engineering Technician

Hilton Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Golf Resort & Spa is looking for an Engineering Technician to join our team and help maintain the highest standards of operation for our hotel's vital infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with your superior and the engineering maintenance team to ensure all equipment functions reliably and safely.

What You'll Do

• Adhere to staff rules, regulations, and commands from superiors.
• Operate carefully and ensure the safe operation of all equipment.
• Ensure the normal daily operation of the hotel's power, water, gas, heating, and cooling systems.
• Promptly and accurately inspect equipment operation records and shift handover logs.
• Inspect and maintain the equipment and facilities under your jurisdiction.
• Save energy and control energy consumption.
• Follow up on maintenance for banquets and meetings, ensuring all related equipment works well.
• Regularly test-run the generator as required to ensure power generation during an outage.
• Supervise and inspect the hotel's fire prevention works and take proper measures to stop violations.
• Supervise and train technicians and apprentices in their duties, skills, and knowledge.
• Manage working tools and register team members’ names upon tool usage.
• Recommend disciplinary action for assigned subordinates.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Familiarity with the operation principle and fault judgment methods of large data center infrastructure (power supply, air conditioning, fire control, security, monitoring, network, etc.).
• Willingness to be engaged in monitoring posts for day and night shifts for long periods and having enough time to study.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism, and learning ability.
• An active and motivated approach to work, with a good sense of service.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Team & Environment

You will cooperate with your superior and assist the Engineering department’s maintenance team, reporting directly to your assigned superior.

Work Mode

This role is onsite at the Hilton Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Golf Resort & Spa.
