1Password is looking for an Engineering Manager, Console UI to lead and grow a frontend-focused engineering team. You will be responsible for shaping the user experience of a new, strategic platform initiative, building the admin and developer-facing interfaces that make complex security and infrastructure capabilities usable, intuitive, and trustworthy.

What You'll Do

Lead, mentor, grow, and retain a high-performance team of developers building the core front-end admin and developer-facing experiences for our new strategic platform.
Define the team’s mission and direction, translating company strategy into a clear roadmap and actionable execution plan.
Deliver high-quality user-facing systems on time, driving measurable customer and business impact through clear goals and prioritization.
Partner closely with Product, Design, Identity, Security, and Backend teams to align roadmaps and build cohesive workflows.
Establish and evolve the frontend technical strategy in collaboration with senior and staff engineers.
Maintain a high bar for usability, accessibility, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
Foster a healthy, inclusive team culture rooted in accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Actively manage performance, hire thoughtfully, and support meaningful career growth for your team.

What We're Looking For

Experience managing and mentoring a team of front-end or full-stack developers in a product environment.
A track record of delivering impactful user-facing features with predictable execution.
Strong product and UX instincts, especially when translating complex technical systems into intuitive experiences.
Technical fluency in modern frontend architectures and the ability to engage deeply in architectural discussions.
Experience defining team direction and roadmaps in partnership with Product and Design.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, security, and platform teams.
Clear, effective communication skills across levels of the organization.
Experience leading remote or distributed teams across multiple timezones.

Compensation: USA: $192,000 USD - $278,000 USD; Canada: $171,000 CAD - $248,000 CAD + equity grant.
