The Engineering Lead will lead the development and expansion of Taurus's secure custody platform in South Europe, focusing on client acquisition, sales execution, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role involves building business plans, managing sales pipelines, and representing Taurus at industry events to drive growth in the digital asset infrastructure space.
What You'll Do
- Proactively prospect and execute deals to grow South Europe
- Manage the existing client base to ensure high satisfaction and renewal rates among existing customers
- Develop a business plan, deliver on sales targets and maintain all sales interaction and pipeline via the Taurus CRM
- Source and co-ordinate RFI/RFPs with prospects and with the internal Taurus team
- Update and maintain Taurus sales material used for pitches, presentations and meetings
- Prepare, manage and follow up sales meetings and demonstrations
- Negotiate the closing of new client deals and upsells
- Internal coordination with Product teams and Partners including sales handover, product gap feedback
- Represent Taurus at third-party events and conferences and generate leads
- Support Taurus build partnerships with institutions within the space (consultants, tech providers etc) and monitor the competitor landscape
- Manage and contribute to marketing, PR and external communication
What We're Looking For
- At least 10 years of working experience in sales within institutional financial technology sales
- Fluent in English, Italian and/or Spanish
- Travel in Europe required
