V.Group is seeking an Engineer (Oficial de Máquinas) to join the crew of a chemical tanker. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining engine room operations and all machinery, acting as the UMS Watch Officer, and performing planned maintenance under the supervision of the Subchefe de Máquinas.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the engine room and act as Watch Officer in the UMS (Unattended Machinery Space) regime.
- Maintain all machinery space equipment, focusing on main propulsion engines, auxiliary engines, and boilers.
- Adopt safe work practices on board at all times.
- Perform electrical maintenance and complete all PMS items in ShipSure when an Electrical Officer is not on board.
- Act as a substitute and train under the supervision of the Subchefe de Máquinas.
- Perform any other tasks as instructed by the Chief Engineer and/or Subchefe de Máquinas.

This is an onsite position located on a vessel.
