Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and enhancement of turbine control applications across global installations
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to design efficient, cost-effective control solutions
- Support automation projects from initial concept through commissioning and after-sales service
- Deliver remote or on-site assistance during turbine start-ups and resolve technical challenges
- Share specialized knowledge with operations and service teams around the world
- Contribute to product strategy by analyzing market trends and identifying innovation opportunities
- Lead training sessions for internal teams and external partners on control system capabilities
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with Valmet automation platforms and industrial control systems
- Solid understanding of turbine processes and control logic
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical expertise
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, implementable solutions
- Active collaborator with a commitment to knowledge sharing and team success
- Customer-focused approach, translating operational needs into technical applications
- Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to engage with global teams and travel as required
