Cordoba Corporation is hiring an Engineer II - Gas Utilities

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate inspection data from inline tools and direct assessments using core pipeline integrity principles, and contribute to improving procedures and data documentation.
  • Convert regulatory and organizational standards into practical evaluation thresholds for coating degradation, corrosion progression, and potential leak hazards.
  • Conduct initial assessments of inspection coverage, recurring anomalies, repair completion rates, and key performance indicators to suggest small-scale improvements to integrity planning and execution.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures and field guidance documents for regular integrity inspections, incorporating feedback from field teams to improve usability.
  • Build and manage simple reporting tools and dashboards to track inspection progress, repair backlogs, defect patterns, and data integrity metrics.
  • Participate in determining root causes of repeated pipeline issues, document outcomes, and propose immediate corrective actions and monitoring needs.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and supply chain teams to synchronize repair timelines, workforce availability, and material procurement for integrity projects.
  • Draft communications for external parties including customers, stakeholders, and property owners regarding pipeline access, inspection schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Support the evaluation of contractor work scopes, inspection outputs, and field performance, noting variances from technical and contractual expectations.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
