Milacron India Private Limited is hiring a Engineer - Field Service to join our Chennai service team, initially based at our Perundurai location. In this hands-on role, you will provide comprehensive post-sales support to customers, managing everything from machine installation and commissioning to troubleshooting, breakdown resolution, and operator training.
What You'll Do
- Provide end-to-end customer support from machine installation through breakdown calls and spare parts support.
- Troubleshoot machine problems and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate pre-installation requirements directly with customers.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for machine performance.
- Install and service all machines within the assigned region.
- Support customers with mould trials, both in-house and on-site.
- Assemble and operate machines at customer locations.
- Train customers on machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Submit field return parts to the factory for analysis and warranty recovery.
- Generate spare parts business and develop recommendations for customers.
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports for each machine interaction.
- Maintain software backups, hydraulic circuit diagrams, and bill of materials on the service portal.
- Ensure regular customer care visits and training follow-ups.
What We're Looking For
- A completed full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Plastics, or Mechatronics.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in the injection molding service field.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the regional service team based in Chennai, working collaboratively to support customers across the territory.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based in Perundurai.
