What You'll Do
Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety standards, actively identifying and reducing risks in equipment, processes, and behaviors. Lead by example in promoting a culture of safety and accountability across the facility.
Perform complex troubleshooting and repair on mechanical, electrical, robotic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems. Maintain and improve AC and DC drives, motors, and control systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Diagnose equipment failures using systematic root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs by executing scheduled tasks and refining procedures for greater effectiveness.
Work with PLC systems—troubleshoot logic, modify programs, and ensure automation functions reliably. Use machining tools such as lathes, mills, and drills for fabrication and repair as needed, and perform welding when required by site-specific demands.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify and resolve equipment performance issues that could impact safety, quality, or production efficiency. Help build operator capability to support frontline ownership of asset care.
Document all maintenance work accurately in the CMMS to maintain a complete asset history. Contribute to improving inspection routines, lubrication practices, and accessibility for maintenance on both new and existing equipment.
