Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical maintenance activities, from planning to execution, covering low, medium, and high voltage systems. Ensure operational continuity by minimizing downtime through proactive troubleshooting and timely corrective actions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for critical electrical assets including transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and control panels
- Monitor and analyze electrical system performance to identify faults, mitigate risks, and improve reliability
- Supervise external contractors and service providers, reviewing technical work plans and approving completed tasks
- Enforce strict adherence to electrical safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures and compliance with IEC and local regulations
- Track and evaluate energy consumption using meters and energy management systems
- Identify inefficiencies in power usage, implement optimization strategies, and improve load distribution and power factor
- Prepare performance reports on energy metrics and support compliance with standards such as ISO 50001
- Lead initiatives to reduce energy consumption and support long-term sustainability goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within industrial manufacturing environments
- Proven experience in implementing energy efficiency projects and systems
- Valid High Voltage Plants Operating Responsibility Certification
- Energy Manager Certificate required
- Ability to reside in either İstanbul or Kocaeli
Preferred Qualifications
- Training certification in Siemens, Beckhoff, or ABB PLC and drive systems
- Proficiency in PLC and SCADA programming
- Strong command of written and spoken English
Technical Environment
Work with LV/MV/HV systems, transformers, switchgear, generator sets, UPS configurations, control panels, and integrated energy management platforms. Engage in automation tasks using Siemens, Beckhoff, and ABB PLCs, along with drive systems and SCADA programming environments.
Work Mode
This is an onsite role based in either İstanbul or Kocaeli, requiring on-site presence to manage plant operations, supervise field activities, and ensure real-time response to electrical system demands.
