Lead complex consulting engagements for life sciences organizations focused on research and development. In this remote role, you'll oversee the full project lifecycle—from planning and scope definition to final delivery—ensuring outcomes align with strategic goals in areas like Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Quality Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple project teams, guiding them to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope
- Design and execute project deliverables that address client-specific challenges in R&D
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding client needs and crafting targeted proposals
- Serve as the primary consulting contact for key strategic accounts
- Provide deep industry insight into R&D processes and trends
- Strengthen client relationships through consistent, trusted advisory engagement
- Develop thought leadership content that positions R&D Consulting as a market leader
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and bring over six years of consulting experience from a recognized management or strategic consulting firm. Prior work in life sciences is essential, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical R&D domains such as Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, or Safety.
Proven ability to lead teams through complex project delivery, engage senior stakeholders, and uncover high-impact opportunities is required. You must also demonstrate a solid grasp of the R&D value chain and possess strong project management capabilities.
Preferred Background
- Fluency in a European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish) alongside English
- Experience with digital platforms, analytics tools, or emerging technologies
- Familiarity with SaaS solutions and Veeva’s R&D product suite
- Relevant Veeva certifications
