About the Role
The Energy Analyst will evaluate energy usage across property assets, generate performance insights, and support sustainability goals through data-driven recommendations and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze energy consumption data from commercial and residential buildings
- Prepare reports on energy efficiency trends and performance metrics
- Support compliance with UK energy regulations and certification standards
- Use data visualization tools to present findings to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for energy savings and carbon reduction
- Collaborate with engineering and sustainability teams on project initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of energy policies and market changes
- Assist in benchmarking building performance against industry standards
- Conduct site data reviews and support energy audits
- Monitor utility billing patterns and flag anomalies
- Contribute to sustainability reporting for internal and external use
- Evaluate renewable energy integration potential
- Support grant and incentive applications related to energy efficiency
- Track KPIs for energy management programs
- Provide input on energy modeling for new developments
- Work with property managers to implement energy-saving measures
- Assist in developing dashboards for real-time energy monitoring
- Review metering data and ensure data integrity
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions
- Stay current with advancements in energy analytics software
Nice to Have
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or similar credential
- Experience with building energy modeling software
- Knowledge of BREEAM or other green building certifications
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau
- Prior work in a consulting or advisory role
- Familiarity with smart metering systems
- Postgraduate qualification in energy or sustainability
