Red Rocks Community College is hiring a part-time EMS Simulation Coordinator Instructor to support the simulation component of its EMS courses. In this role, you'll work closely with the EMS program director and course instructors to coordinate lab events and ensure the educational environment is ready for students.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the coordination and implementation of lab and simulation events.
- Ensure equipment is used appropriately and in accordance with its design.
- Oversee equipment operation, set up, and breakdown, including patient simulators, task trainers, and associated equipment.
- Keep all lab space, simulation space, and ambulances ready for each day's educational events.
- Ensure needed supplies are on hand, stocked, and perform maintenance on task trainers and simulators as needed.
- Assist the program director with inventory, inventory control, and ordering supplies.
- May assist the program director or faculty with the operation and programming of high-fidelity mannequins.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work with indirect supervision.
- Basic proficiency with computers including the Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly learn new software such as programming software for patient simulators.
Nice to Have
- Completion of an EMT class or higher.
- Current Colorado EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification.
- At least one year of active field experience as an EMS provider.
- Prior experience as an EMS educator.
- Experience demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in state and national EMS regulatory requirements and education standards at all levels.

You will report to Robert Vroman and work closely with the EMS program director and course instructors.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position based at the Lakewood campus location.
