The Account Director is responsible for leading the growth of key enterprise accounts by delivering tailored fibre network and connectivity solutions. This role drives revenue through consultative selling, identifying customer needs, and aligning technical capabilities with business objectives to deliver long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from identifying opportunities to presenting custom proposals and closing deals
- Develop strategic account plans to expand existing relationships and acquire new business within target markets
- Use Salesforce to track performance, forecast revenue accurately, and report on key sales metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Maintain deep knowledge of network infrastructure offerings to guide clients through complex decisions
- Travel as needed to meet clients and support regional business objectives
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least five years in B2B sales or account management, ideally within telecommunications or digital infrastructure. Strong financial literacy and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with Salesforce is advantageous. Familiarity with scalable network solutions and a customer-centric sales approach will support success in this role.
