Dart Container is looking for an Employee Master Data Representative to join our corporate team. In this role, you will provide high-level customer service by managing HR master data, processing employee changes, and assisting global HR representatives. You’ll be responsible for ensuring data integrity, maintaining our organizational structure, and supporting key HR processes.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain the global organizational structure in assigned systems, processing new and obsolete positions, organizational units, and associated master data.
- Maintain and publish related information, such as organizational charts, for internal company use.
- Respond to requests from local HR personnel and corporate HR department members to support their master data activities.
- Provide training on employee master data processes to local HR personnel as needed.
- Participate in employee master data audits to identify errors and opportunities for improvement, upholding data integrity.
- Act in a local HR capacity for assigned locations to update systems and maintain personnel files, entering transactions like new hires, promotions, transfers, separations, and compensation changes.
- Help develop and maintain efficient processes, procedures, checklists, forms, and workflows to support assigned activities.
- Write and run ad hoc queries for routine or project-specific activities to provide requested data.
- Enter all data and maintain assigned files accurately and in a timely manner.
- Proof all entered data to identify and correct errors, communicating changes to the requestor before finalizing tasks.
- Follow up on work duties and projects to ensure completion.
- Consistently maintain absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
- Complete administrative tasks such as correspondence, reports, filing, organizing, and ordering supplies.
- Maintain and track office supplies and equipment for the HR Department.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of data entry experience in a master data system such as SAP or another master database system.
- Microsoft Word skills to perform intermediate functions like mail merge and inserting a table of contents.
- Microsoft Excel skills to create spreadsheets using formulas like V-lookup, graphs, and pivot tables.
- Strong customer service skills via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain options and solutions.
- Organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- The ability to interact professionally with employees at all organizational levels.
Nice to Have
- Relational database experience (e.g., MS Access) with the ability to create tables, complex queries, and reports from multiple data sources.
- Intermediate to advanced Spanish language skills (reading, writing, and speaking) with an emphasis on professional business language.
