What You'll Do
Oversee payroll operations across 23 EMEA countries, ensuring all processes meet local compliance standards and deadlines. You'll manage end-to-end payroll cycles, including data validation, tax remittances, and payments to employees, while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with relevant agencies.
Collaborate with HR, finance teams in India, and external service providers to ensure seamless payroll execution. You'll support new hires and internal transfers with onboarding sessions, respond to employee inquiries, and provide guidance on payroll-related matters. Work closely with auditors, tax authorities, and banking partners to uphold financial integrity.
Take ownership of month-end activities, including journal entries, flux reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations. Validate payroll inputs, ensure data accuracy, and support compliance across pension, insurance, and statutory requirements in countries such as France, Finland, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
- Payroll Certification is mandatory
- At least 8 years of experience in global payroll operations
- Proven understanding of international tax regulations and stock-based compensation
- Deep familiarity with payroll systems, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- High attention to detail, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving capability
- Adaptability in fast-evolving environments with shifting demands
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in pensions and employee benefits administration
- Experience in finance functions is a plus
- Direct experience with payroll in France and Finland is highly valued
