What You'll Do
Provide expert-level technical support to customers across the EMEA region, assisting with both pre- and post-sales inquiries related to genomics-focused products. You'll interpret customer data, troubleshoot experimental challenges, and offer actionable recommendations to ensure successful application outcomes.
Respond promptly and accurately to customer questions delivered via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a high standard of service. Collaborate with internal teams including Sales and technical departments to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns when necessary. Manage custom design requests from initial intake through final delivery, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
Develop technical content and documentation to support customer understanding and product adoption. Use internal databases to access relevant product and application information, ensuring responses are grounded in accurate, up-to-date science.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
- Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with genomics applications in a research lab or life science industry setting
- Demonstrate prior experience in a customer-facing technical role
- Possess strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and fast, accurate typing skills
- Show excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- An M.S. or Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a similar discipline is advantageous
- Five or more years of applied genomics experience in academic or industrial environments is preferred
