Lead business development in the EMEA region for advanced medical device solutions, focusing on long-term client partnerships and market expansion. You will identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and execute targeted sales strategies to grow market presence in the MedTech space.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by engaging with decision-makers at medical device organizations
- Travel regularly across EMEA to meet clients, present solutions, and uncover new business prospects
- Apply strategic account management to expand relationships with global OEMs and high-value customers
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and support teams to align offerings with customer needs
- Conduct market assessments to track trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Negotiate and close agreements that support sustainable growth and profitability
- Provide feedback from customers to inform product innovation and go-to-market strategies
- Maintain accurate forecasts and deliver regular updates on pipeline performance and action plans
- Stay current with regulatory developments, industry advancements, and evolving sales methodologies
Qualifications
You bring proven experience in medical device sales, with a strong network in the OEM sector. A degree in engineering, business, or a related field is expected, along with fluency in English and advanced proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Strategic thinking, analytical ability, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. You work effectively with minimal supervision, adapt quickly to change, and thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
Preferred candidates will have background in polymer-based technologies or regulated medical device markets, including familiarity with ISO-13485 and FDA/EU Class II and III clearance processes. Additional fluency in German or Italian is an advantage.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with a base in Ireland and approximately 50% travel across the EMEA region. You should be comfortable operating in dynamic markets with evolving priorities and customer demands.
