Drive revenue and client success as an Account Executive for a leading multi-platform media company in the Minneapolis market. You'll leverage a diverse portfolio—including over-the-air radio, digital audio, podcasting, OTT, e-commerce, and original content—to design and sell targeted advertising campaigns that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and regional advertisers to support long-term success and repeat business
- Identify new sales opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic use of all available marketing platforms
- Design and present customized campaign solutions that align with client goals across multiple channels
- Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact to closing deals and ensuring smooth campaign execution
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service and support
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets while maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline
- Log client interactions and track opportunities in Salesforce CRM
- Stay current with industry developments, emerging platforms, and evolving client needs
Qualifications
Candidates should have a proven track record in media or digital platform sales, with experience in both acquiring new clients and growing existing accounts. A solid grasp of advertising strategy across audio, digital, and interactive formats is essential.
You must be self-driven, creative in problem-solving, and skilled at turning client challenges into strategic opportunities. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite is required, along with a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
A college degree is preferred but not required.
Technology & Tools
You’ll work with Salesforce (CRM), Wide Orbit (order entry), vCreative (for ad production and placement), MS Office, and Google Suite to manage campaigns and client relationships efficiently.
