Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work on elevators, escalators, platform lifts, conveyors, and dumbwaiters.
- Respond to emergency situations including passenger entrapments, power outages, and service disruptions, and carry out necessary rescue procedures.
- Inspect, service, adjust, and repair various components of elevator and escalator systems, including doors, rails, cables, SCR drives, micro controls, and wiring.
- Conduct annual performance tests on all elevators and escalators and supervise inspections for Category 1 and Category 5 classifications.
- Resolve all ECB and PVT violations through in-house repair and maintenance activities.
- Keep detailed logs of all maintenance and repair work in accordance with Department of Buildings regulations.
- Support preventive maintenance programs for elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and accessibility lifts.
- Service and maintain electrical and hydraulic systems, including lubricating moving parts, replacing lights, and adjusting or replacing cables, controls, and generators.
