Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring an Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical engineering operations within our Critical Infrastructure division. This remote Nevada-based role involves overseeing the complete lifecycle of electrical projects from design to execution, ensuring timely delivery, system maintenance, and adherence to safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and mentor the electrical team to achieve operational excellence.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver electrical projects within scope, budget, and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols, industry codes, and regulations.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and perform regular inspections and audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and resolve issues.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and technical proposals.
- Provide safety and technical training to the team, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Assist in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of electrical systems.
- Manage inventory, budget allocation, and cost estimates for projects.
- Stay current with emerging industry trends and integrate innovative solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in electrical design, engineering, and supervision.
- A valid AC Electrical Contractors license is required.
- Proficiency with design and engineering software, including AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, MS Office, and Visio.
- In-depth knowledge of power distribution, control systems, automation, PLC programming, and SCADA.
- Experience with both high- and low-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies.
- Understanding of hazardous classifications and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to work in varied environments, lift up to 75 lbs, climb, and use PPE.
- Completion of OSHA 30 training, First Aid/CPR certification, and PPE training is preferred (or willingness to complete on the job).
