Wade Trim is hiring an Electrical Substation Engineer to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for engineering and design tasks related to electrical substation projects, contributing to vital infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design and engineer electrical substation systems and components
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Perform project planning, studies, and analysis
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
- Ensure designs comply with all applicable codes and standards
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- Proven experience in electrical substation design
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices
Work Mode
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement. You will work from home and from one of our Michigan offices. Candidates should be located near or willing to work from Taylor, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Flint, or Traverse City, MI.
